Antonucci's Italian & Seafood Restaurant | Our Story

Nearly Five Decades of Italian Hospitality

Nearly five decades ago, a neighborhood Italian spot opened on Alicia Parkway — and never left. Antonucci's is Mission Viejo's oldest Italian restaurant, and every plate still tastes like proof of why it lasted.

Antonucci's opened in 1976 and has called the same Alicia Parkway address home since 1986 — Mission Viejo's longest-running Italian restaurant. Families who came as kids now bring their own.

The kitchen honors two traditions at once: classic Italian-American cooking and the fresh coastal seafood of Southern California. Fresh pasta shares the table with cioppino rich with shrimp, clams, and mussels.

Ask any regular and they'll tell you — it's servers like Amanda, Yasmine, and Marlene who make Antonucci's feel like home. First-timers often leave with a complimentary tiramisu; regulars leave with their order already remembered for next time.

Meet the Family Behind Antonucci's

Luigi and his family have been at the helm for over five years, bringing more than three decades of restaurant industry experience to every plate and every guest. But Antonucci's is more than a business. It's a second home, and it has been since 1976. Grandparents bring their grandkids here. Local businesses hold meetings over lunch. Organizations host seminars and celebrations in our private Bella Room, where we customize every detail to fit your event. Our Italian-inspired dishes draw from family recipes that go back decades, and our community means everything to us. Whether you're a regular, a first-timer, or part of our team, you're treated like family the moment you walk through the door. The atmosphere is always lively. Live music, trivia nights, and comedy shows fill the bar on Thursdays. Happy hour runs every day from 12 to 6, and our chef rolls out brand new specials each week. We're a hidden gem in Mission Viejo, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Tuscan countryside murals, warm pendant lights, and a red rose on every table — a room that hasn't chased trends because it never needed to. Come for dinner, stay for a glass from the full bar.
